As a 64 year old man, I recognize the importance of keeping my mind and body as fit as possible. I have chosen the way of Tae Kwon Do style of karate to maintain that fitness. Although there are several Tae Kwon Do schools available in Fort Wayne, Indiana, All Star Martial Arts Academy stood out to offer the kind of leadership and rigorous training that best met my needs. The master instructor has years of experience in training both young and old. She has the patience and skills to provide world-class training. The facility provides a clean family atmosphere that is evident the moment you enter. The fees are very affordable with no long-term contracts to empty your bank account. Training is available for the little tykes as well as the senior folks like me. All Star is the kind of place where you like to be.

I have known Master Himelick for about 6 years now. I have been through many Tae Kwon Do teachers, at least 15 that I know of. She is the backbone of what a real martial arts teacher is. She knows how to make you work harder than what you thought you could and achieve greater goals than what you had set your sights on. She is serious when she needs to be, but always makes it a point to welcome any newcomers that enter her school. I consider her school the best Tae Kwon Do school around.

At the beginning of preschool my son's teachers noticed

some rough play behavior and a bit of anger issues. Because of this I decided to get him involved in martial arts to teach him discipline and focus. I was very anxious to go to his second parent teacher conference to see if there was an improvement in his behavior at school.  We actually stopped receiving daily notes home almost completely.  Much to our liking his teachers had noticed a complete turnaround in his behavior!!! I feel as if Master Himelick and her fellow instructors have greatly contributed to this difference. I completely recommend this program. I have a great time watching him progress, not only at karate but as a growing child.
The best thing about it is my son LOVES it too.
